Recording in the basement is natural for me. I have been doing it since the 80,s and being cash challenged, I used whatever I could. 4-track cassettes, Hi-Fi VCR’s and the likes. Quality was difficult to achieve. Of course computers have changed all that.
Studio 23, my home project studio, is a small, comfortable space where you can let your creativity flow without worrying about how big the bill will be. Well equipped with hardware, software, mics and tubes, Studio 23 is an ideal place to record demo’s, or entire albums!
While working on my own projects, a friend asked me to record a 3 song demo for his band and we were all really pleased with the results. I then recorded few other projects also with good results so I decided to open the studio to the public. The idea is to make enough money to continually upgrade and to enjoy the “experience”. I have been involved in music all my life, playing, writing, recording, and just jamming, so this venture is for the love of music.
Acoustic, or electric, 1 person, or a 6 piece band, Studio 23 can deliver a high quality mastered product at great prices. Although, I am no mastering engineer, I can supply a professional polished final mix for a very reasonable price.
